A few years ago, I was doing lots of research into the best way to go bicycle touring; I looked at loads of bikes, pannier racks & bags and finally trailers.
I settled on a trailer, saved up and treated myself to the legendary BOB Yak single wheel trailer; mine happens to be the 10th anniversary special edition in black with silver decals.
I love my trailer (most of the time) and use it to transport all sorts of things; here you can see some of my favourite loads and, some I regret…
- Taking a break at a campsite near Prees, North Staffordshire.
- Vintage 27″ wheelset being taken to the bike shop to be trued.
- Heavily overloaded on my first proper bike tour; yes, that *is* a hatchet!
- Custom built wheel; Brompton 16″ (349c) rim, 100mm wide hub and Schwalbe Kojak slick tyre
- Loaded up with camping gear, somewhere in Derbyshire
- Gold lowrider wheel & white wall tyre
- Out and about on a training ride
- Coventry Eagle frame & wheels
- Exhausted

hi !!! hows the BOB trailer???
could not be without mine!
Hi! I was just thinking the other day, I haven’t used it in a while… but I’m half planning a UK tour with it this year.
Looks like you have some great country lanes to explore with yours, love the camera angle!
