I’m curious as to what fenders you’re using when set up for touring. Do they create issues when removing the rear wheel when fixing a flat tire?
Hi Terry, thanks for stopping by! I run with SKS Commuter full wrap mudguards when I’m commuting / touring and yes, because of the horizontal dropouts, if you need to remove the rear wheel, you also need to unbolt the 2 lower mounting points for the mudguard. It’s a bit of a pain but it’s not too bad… Having to break the chain is much more of an issue; thank god for powerlinks!
